About Us

Anita Collins, MSW, LICSW, located in Worcester, MA, has been helping people redesign their lives for close to three decades. Early in her career, she directed a career and life planning program for women returning to work or seeking career changes and developed a college certificate program in management for women seeking career advancement. As a Division Director of a Mental Health Center and as President and CEO of a Social Service Organization she developed Employee Assistance Programs and consultation and training services for local companies and organizations. She later established a branch of a regional organization that educates and trains women starting or growing their own businesses. Throughout her career, she has developed and presented workshops that focus on empowering clients by providing them with tools, resources and support to attain their goals successfully. She currently maintains an active coaching practice, specializing in working with women in transition and with individuals and couples preparing for their retirement years. Anita received her Master of Social Work degree at Boston College, and obtained her training as a personal and professional coach through MentorCoach. Ellen Good, MSW, Owner of Focus First, LLC, located in Kennett Square, PA, is in her third career. After receiving her MSW from St. Louis University, she worked in administrative positions for a non-profit fund raising organization and county government. Her first career change was into the field of marketing research, which included operating her own qualitative marketing research firm for over 10 years where she consulted to a wide variety of corporations and health care organizations. Since completing coaching training in 1998 with the Coaches Training Institute, she has been coaching professionals and consultants on career change, work/life balance and marketing. As her clients approach retirement age, she helps them through the transition to retirement and “what is next” from there. An avid lifelong learner, Ellen is trained as a mediator, has completed the Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching training program with the Coaches Training Institute, retirement coaching training with Retirement Options, and has a Certificate on Aging fron Boston University. She is qualified to administer the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) and is licensed to administer the Retirement Success Profile. She has developed and led a variety of workshops, including Jump Start Your Career Change, Embracing Midlife, Transitions, and Career Coaching for Coaches. In addition to her coaching practice, she works part time as a hospice social worker.
